AAW Covers 3 Generations
![]() |
Aurora Auto Wrecking, Inc. was
started in 1962 by Frank and Lucille Conley. The first location was on Aurora Ave N. in the north end of Seattle. The vehicles carried at the time were mostly domestic models. In 1973, Frank, Lucille and their 2 sons, Jerry and Clay opened the present store at 9217 Aurora Ave N.. During the later 70's the product line changed to newer models but still Domestic. |
|
| In the early 80's Foreign cars were
brought in, so the Conley Family opened a store in Woodinville WA to carry the Domestic and Japanese lines. The store on 93rd would carry the European line of autos. Then in 1991 the decision was made to phase out all lines except, Mercedes Benz, BMW, Volvo, Fiat, Saab, and British cars. In 1997 it was further narrowed by selling our Saab line to a firm to start their own Saab Yard. This made room to add Jaguars to the yard. |
